Security and data handling for robotics dataset programs

Commercial robotics data collection requires clear handling of confidential tasks, sites, and footage. This page summarizes how ROBOTRAIN approaches security for dataset programs.

Encryption in transit

Session bundles are transferred over secure channels. Device-side encryption is used for field uploads where the capture kit supports it.

Access control

Raw footage access is limited to named engineers. Customer deliveries use agreed channels and versioned release packages.

NDA process

We sign NDAs before detailed task disclosure or confidential site access. Share your template on the contact form, or request ours.

Consent & anonymization

Informed consent is obtained where humans are recorded. Identifier handling follows the statement of work for each program.

Retention

Retention windows for raw and derived data are defined per contract, including exclusive programs that must not be reused.

Chain of custody

Scripts, calibration logs, and provenance notes ship with releases so your team can document how data was produced.

NDAs

Can you sign NDAs?

Yes. We sign NDAs before confidential task details or site access. Private deliveries and restricted raw footage access are standard for commercial work. Send your NDA on the contact form, or ask for ours. Security handling is summarized on our Security page and fixed in the statement of work.
